Odd sightings
Hayden Alexia Rose somehow made it outside to the pond. She wasn't really sure quite how this happened. One second she was in her Common Room, the next she was outside looking down at the pond. For some reason or another, the pond looked darker. It looked like someone had poured black dye in it. It was never like that before. Before, the kids go go swimming, and look for fish, or just stick their feet in. Now, Hayden did not want to even look at the gross pond that fell before her dark blue eyes. It was almost...too scary to look at. She wasn't sure why, but she still could not look away from the pond that looked like it could freeze over any second. At that very moment, a huge gust of wind blew by, and knocked Hayden to the cold, damp gound right near the pond. If she moved even an inch the wrong way, she'd be lying in the pond. Very carefully, she got up and stood under a tree.
Not really knowing why, she looked up at the sky. That too seemed very dark, lately. She wondered really why that was. It wasn't normal dark...but scary dark. There were no clouds in the sky, in yet it was still wicked dark. The wind came back, and Hayden was now very, very cold. She couldn't help but want to stay outside, though. It was something about all these odd sightings that made her want to keep sitting outside in the cold. She squinted her eyes, and saw what looked like movement far, far, far away on the pond. Something Hayden got from her mom was her amazing eye sight. She could litterly see for miles away if she tried really hard. She doesn't do this very often, because then she always gets these headaches that last for weeks at a time. Quickly shaking her head, she sighed loudly.
"I'm bored." She said, to no one but the fish in the pond.

Re: Odd sightings
Soren Daein quickly made his way through the Castle Halls. He didn't like to be loud, ever. He thought grace was something to be admired, and therefore aspired to do such at every given moment. At least with his movements. In conversation, it was alright to be silly with some people... walking quietly, was definitely something he always did. After all, how is too much noise, graceful? He sighed, a small smile planted on his face. He placed his small hands on the handle, and found it usually cold. He decided to shrug that off and pushed it open.
Now this was a peculiar sight. He looked up and saw an eerie dark sky. Billowing clouds. Ominous to the point that you'd expect this to be the sky in the climax of a Horror Movie. 'Or maybe the scene with the dogs at the Graveyard in the Omen.' Soren thought to himself with a shudder. He liked horror movies but found them rather frightening, as they're supposed to be.
He unwrapped a thin sweater from around his slender waist and placed both arms in it and did up the zipper most of the way. As many times as he could, he tried to get out the school uniform. When classes were done, he always immediately changed. Todays choice of clothing were very black, with a tint of gray to them, skinny jeans, with a belt that had green and pink studs on it. He wore a black tee-shirt that had a heart where his own was, shaped like the actual scientific heart, and drawn blood splattered across the front of the shirt. The sweater was from a Muggle Band's concert, Tool's concert, to be correct. He wore most of his hair straightened, the bands and ends were, but the top was messy and styled with a bit of hairspray and gel. He also had put a layer of eyeliner under his eyes, with green shadow both on the lid, and very thin below the liner.
He finally tore his eyes away from the dark sky, who's clouds were moving quite quickly, indicating a strong wind. He sighed and made his way over to the pond. He walked slowly now, and almost made no sound at all with his steps. There was something amiss out here, that was for sure. The dark pond, which seemed to be quite lacking in habitation, confirmed that. He raised and eyebrow and slowly brought his arms around himself, partly from fear, partly from the cold.
He jumped, literally, upon hearing a little voice mumble something. He turned to the source of the voice and found it was Hayden Rose. He laughed softly to himself and waved a dismissive hand to no one in particular. Hayden was no one to be afraid of. He most certainly felt silly now.
He let a nervous smile play itself on his face and then spoke,
"Hey there, Hayden!" he said softly, with a hint of shyness to his tone. Whether or not that was intentional or not, would not be able to be said.
Relief flooded through him. For a second, with this eerie weather, he thought something was really there. 'This isn't so bad, when there's someone else here.' He smiled thoughtfully to himself, then brought his gaze back to where Hayden was, a pleasant expression across his face.

Re: Odd sightings
[b]It did not take Hayden very long to know that she wasn't alone. She could tell that someone was looking at her, but she wasn't sure whom. She didn not want to turn around and look. just insane. So, there she sat. Just looking at the pond, seeing if this person would say something to her. She did not know if it even was a person or not, just she could feel eyes watching her. Hayden hoped that it wasn't someone or something that could hurt her. She started to shake a little bit more. This was not due to the fact that the wind was now blowing extra hard, but because she now felt terrified.
It was right when she heard a voice say,"Hey there, Hayden" that she sighed happily. It wasn't someone that wanted to hurt it, it was Soren. She felt warm for a second, just know that she was not alone anymore. The sight that she saw was pretty intense, and it was nice to know that someone she liked was there with her. She did not want to have to look at the creepy pond, or scary sky by herself anymore. Not even knowing what she was doing, she got up, and ran over to Soren. She smiled warmly at his shy, sweet smile. "Come over here with me." Hayden nodded towards the spot under the tree she was at before.
She ran back to it, abd sat down. The pond, for some reason, was now acting very funny. The water seemed to have huge waves, which was very, very rare for a pond to have. "This is just getting creepy..." Her deep blue eyes filled with fear, she had no idea what the hell was going on. The sky seemed to open up, but no rain fell. It was the stragest sight she had ever seen. "I'm scared." She said, and looked over at Soren. "I have no idea what's going on here anymore."
